What: First Gear, introduction to essential skills and techniques for confident, comfortable cycling on roads and urban trails.
The course is based on the League of American Cyclists certificate curriculum.
First Gear is the first of the three-part everybodyBIKE Full Cycle course.
Where: REI Sehome Village
Distance & Pace: Class takes place indoors
Cost: $10 or Free for Smart Trips participants who register in advance. Or request a fee waiver.
Registration: Registration required by March 22. Low registration may result in re-schedule
Age: Oriented toward adults. Children under 16 may attend if accompanied by supervising adult
Weather: Class takes place indoors.
Bring: No equipment required. Optional: Bring your bike and helmet for a fit and safety check
